Tomáš Červinka has played for the Czech Republic at times. Červinka hit .214/.389/.265 as a part-timer for Draci Brno in the 2003 Extraliga. In 2004, he batted .316/.443/.386 in a similar role. He improved to .353/.513/.529 in 2005, finishing third in the league in OBP and fifth in slugging. He backed up Karel Hrušovský in right field for the Czech team in the 2005 Baseball World Cup, going 1 for 10 with 7 strikeouts. He had one assist and no errors defensively.

In 2006, Tomáš batted .337/.443/.419 and was among the leaders in average (10th), hits (10th, 35), OBP (8th), steals (tied for 3rd, 10) and run (tied for 8th, 24). The next year, the 22-year-old was 12 for 35 with 6 walks and two triples. In 2008, Červinka he went 5 for 40 with 5 walks and a double. He struck out in both of his at-bats in the 2008 World University Championship. He went 1 for 6 with a walk and run in the Regensburg 2008 European Cup and was 1 for 3 with a walk, run and RBI in the Matino phase of the 2009 European Cup.
