Biographical Information[edit]

Todd Wilkinson was a minor league player and college coach.

Wilkinson was picked by the Montréal Expos in the 15th round of the 1984 amateur draft, one pick before Derek Lilliquist. He hit .274/.330/.425 with 40 runs and 42 RBI in 71 games for the Jamestown Expos that summer. He had the team's second-best OPS. He was 6th in the New York-Penn League in doubles (17), 1st in sacrifice flies (9) and tied for 6th in times hit by pitch (6). He was head coach of Barton College from 1988-1995 (it was known as Atlantic Christian College when he was first hired) then was assistant coach at UNC Wilmington from 1995-1998. He helped run the North Carolina Baseball Academy from 1999-2001 then returned to Barton for another 11 years as head coach. Overall, he was 496-447-3 at Barton and won four league titles. He retired from his coaching role in 2011 to become an athletic administrator at Barton.
