Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Todd Stottlemyre was signed after being picked in the secondary phase of the 1985 amateur draft by the Toronto Blue Jays and general manager Pat Gillick.

He is the son of Mel Stottlemyre Sr. and brother of Mel Stottlemyre Jr.. His uncle, Jeff Stottlemyre, was a minor league pitcher for the Seattle Mariners from 1980 to 1983.
