Biographical Information[edit]

Timothy Banner was a long-time coach.

He hit .321 at Point Park University, then was head coach of Avonworth High School (1988-1991), assistant at Moon Area High School (1991-1994) and head coach of North Catholic High School (1994-1998). He coached North Allegheny High School from 1999-2006, winning a state title in 2000. From 2007-2013, he coached Woodland Hills High School. In 2014, he was hired to start the baseball program at Chatham University, which had been a girls' only school. The team first took the field in 2017 and he led them to a 20-61 record in three years. His daughter Nicole was a college softball coach.
