Timothy Forbes Timmons

Biographical Information[edit]

Tim Timmons started his umpiring career in the 1991 New York-Penn League. He then worked in the 1992 South Atlantic League, 1993-1994 Carolina League, 1995-1996 Southern League and 1997-2001 International League. In 2001, he became a full-time MLB umpire, after having worked his first games in the National League at the end of the 1999 season. He worked the 2008 season opener and the first MLB games played in China. He worked the 2009 All-Star Game. His first postseason games were in 2005 and he was part of the umpiring crew for the 2018 World Series.

He retired following the 2022 season, having worked over 2,700 games in 23 years of service.
