Biographical Information[edit]
Tim Norton was drafted in the 7th round of the 2006 amateur draft from the University of Connecticut by the New York Yankees. He pitching in the Yankees minor league system from 2006-2011. Norton reached AAA in both 2010 and 2011, but only pitched one inning each year. Overall Norton had a 9-7 record with 9 saves and a 2.41 ERA.
Following the 2011 season, Norton coached in the Yankees minor league system for several years. Norton left the Yankees organization after 2019. He was scheduled to be the inaugural pitching coach of the Rocket City Trash Pandas in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to COVID-19.
