Biographical Information[edit]
3B/1B Tim Nelson was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 7th round of the 1998 amateur draft.
He represented Canada with the Senior National Team in the 1998 Baseball World Cup, hitting .235/.316/.235 with four runs in five games but fielding .778 with four errors at the hot corner. In 2005, he went into coaching, tutoring local clubs in the Ottawa, ON region, as well as Canada's National Junior Team, and in the Italian premier league with Verona.
He was named Head Coach of the Ottawa Fat Cats in the Intercounty Baseball League in 2011.
