Biographical Information[edit]

Tim Delgado pitched in the minor leagues and the CPBL.

Delgado went 0-1 with a 5.59 ERA for the Miami Miracle in 1990, then the Chicago Cubs signed him. He had a 2.80 ERA in 17 games for the Geneva Cubs in his first season, then he played 49 games with a 7-2 record and 4 saves for the Peoria Chiefs in 1991. He was 8th in the Cubs chain in appearances and tied for 9th in the Midwest League. Delgado went 8-10 with a 3.41 ERA for the Winston-Salem Spirits in 1992, and he also had a 4.76 ERA in 6 games with the Charlotte Knights.

He was 6-7 with a 1.70 ERA in 17 games (13 starts) for the Daytona Cubs in 1993, but his ERA was 5.90 with a 1-3 record in 9 games for the AA Orlando Cubs. The Cubs then released him, and he signed with the Mercuries Tigers of Taiwan. However, Delgado allowed 9 runs in 6 innings in 1994, then he was released in August. Delgado returned to Taiwan in 1998, and this time he played for the Brother Elephants. However, he struggled again as his ERA was 7.94 in 2 games, and his professional career ended.
