Biographical Information[edit]
Tim Day was an infielder on the Australian national team in the 1985 Intercontinental Cup. When the Australian Baseball League was formed in 1989-1990, he hit .308/.344/.505 as a 3B/OF. He missed the next season then was at .233/.267/.395 in 1991-1992. His final season, 1992-1993, he batted .248/.290/.431 with 38 RBI in 44 games. He tied Tim Holland for 4th with six homers and trailed only Tony Adamson and Greg Jelks in RBI. He had batted .261 and slugged .442 in 100 games in the ABL, with 13 homers and 69 RBI. He later was a physical therapist in the Los Angeles Dodgers system.
