Biographical Information[edit]
Tim Boeth played one season in the minors.
Boeth hit .303 with 25 steals as a junior at the University of Central Florida in 1998, winning All-Conference honors. As a senior, he improved to .361 with 45 swipes and again was All-Conference. He finished 4th in school history with 70 career steals.
Boeth was picked by the Anaheim Angels in the 33rd round of the 1999 amateur draft. He hit .296/.388/.420 with 36 runs in 51 games for the Boise Hawks that year but it would be his lone season in the minors.
Boeth was a volunteer assistant coach at Central Florida in 2001. From 2006-2010, Boeth was an assistant coach at Mercer University. He coached for the German national team in the 2010 European Championship, when they won the Bronze Medal for the first time since 1975.
