Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Tim Bittner was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 10th round of the 2001 amateur draft. He was signed by scouts Ken Stauffer and John Tumminia and made his pro debut that summer.
In 2003 Bittner was traded with Gary Glover and Scott Dunn to the Anaheim Angels for Scott Schoeneweis and Doug Nickle. He later was a Houston Astros scout, starting in the fall of 2011; he signed Derek Fisher, Kit Scheetz and Tyler White.
