The World Series Curse

The World Series Curse is the first Super Special in the Ballpark Mysteries series by David A. Kelly. Unlike the prior books in the Series, it includes two ballparks, Fenway Park and Wrigley Field, in a World Series between the two teams with historical 'curses', the Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs. Someone is interfering with the Cubs' bid to close out the Series, with corked bats, loose goats and tampered baseballs. The book features repeat appearances from players from prior books, notably Boston's Big D and Chicago's Louie Lopez. Kate Hopkins and Mike Walsh have to figure out who is the culprit framing the Cubs.
