Biographical Information[edit]
Terry Ley was the first pitcher in Nippon Pro Baseball history to commit three balks in an inning, doing so in 1974. 33 years later, Domingo Guzman became the second.
He was born in Portland, OR a few months after Ron Lolich was born there. The two came to the majors in the same year, and both eventually played in Japan.
On the New York Yankees in 1971 he was the same age as catcher Thurman Munson.
