Biographical Information[edit]
Infielder Tarrin Vavra is the son of long-time coach Joe Vavra and the brother of minor league players Tanner Vavra and Trey Vavra.
He was originally drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 3rd round of the 2018 amateur draft, out of the University of Minnesota. he was the Player of the Year in the South Atlantic League with the Asheville Tourists in 2019.
On August 30, 2020, he was traded to the Baltimore Orioles along with Mishael Deson and Tyler Nevin in return for P Mychal Givens. It was with the Orioles that he made his major league debut as a pinch-runner for Trey Mancini on July 29, 2022
