Team cards
A Team Card is a baseball card dedicated to a single team. For many years Topps used a group photo of the entire team on the front of the card, with a variety of useful material on the back varying from year to year. The picture was usually taken inside the team's ballpark, but not always: some were taken in spring training, and others outside the ballpark. In some circumstances, when a team picture was unavailable, it was replaced with a card featuring head shots of the most prominent members of the team.
In the 1970s, some team cards doubled as Manager cards, as the team's manager was featured as an inset on the team card.
