Teófilo Liriano
Teófilo Liriano pitched for the Dominican national team that won the Silver Medal in the 1974 Central American and Caribbean Games. He lost 7-0 to Gold Medal winner Cuba and beat El Salvador, 14-0. He was 1-1 with a 2.35 ERA and 11 K in 15 1/3 IP. He was third on the Dominican staff in ERA (behind Carlos Julio Pérez and Silvio Martinez) and he was one of only two Dominican hurlers to take a loss (Roberto Rodriguez was the other one). He tied Lionel Quijada for 9th in the event in whiffs. At the plate, he was 1 for 5 with a walk.
