Biographical Information[edit]
Tatsuya Kajimoto pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball and for the Japanese national team.
Kajimoto was drafted by the Orix Buffaloes in the first round of the development phase in the 2007 NPB draft. He spent the first three years in the NPB Farm Leagues. Kajimoto represented Japan in the 2010 Intercontinental Cup, making one appearance with two shutout innings (2 H, 1 BB, 1 K) as a bright spot in their 8-1 loss to South Korea. He finally debuted in the Pacific League on May 14, 2011. He pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed 3 runs. This was the only big club appearance in Kajimoto's career, as the Buffaloes released him after the 2011 season.
