Well,only player who use the free-agent system to joined the Kintetsu. In East Asia, players won’t became free agents automatically, they should played a period of times (For Instance, 8 years in NPB), announced they would became a free agent, then other teams can sign them. Thus, not many players use this to change team, and since Kintetsu expelled early, Kato was indeed the only “free agent” they’ve signed. Noticed those who teams released was also a free agent in Us, but in East Asia we would had a difference.
