Not sure if Willisville is an actual place, or just a nickname for the area where the Willis clan was. Regardless, Newbern is an actual place, and that's where he was listed as being born early in his career [1] [2]. Looks like an uncle pushed to have him list Willisville later on [3] There was a Willis farm between Newbern and Dyersburg. Jeff (talk) 18:50, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
