When was Kai Liu with the Chinese national team? I don't see him as having played in the 2005 Baseball World Cup, 2006 World Baseball Classic, 2006 Haarlem Baseball Week or any other major event. Is China going to be like the new Cuba, where agents claim so-and-so was a member of the national team when they weren't? Or was Liu added to the team after 2006 and before they played another major tourney?

Also, he's a left-handed hitting catcher???

I think the MLB.com article means by Chinese National Team is the upcoming 2008 Chinese Olympic Baseball team. Thanks for the correction.

What category shall we list Liu under since he hasn't played with the Chinese College National Team or the Chinese College National Team. I'm wondering if we need to add a category for China Baseball League players as Liu falls under neither of the above categories.
