Talk:John Burkett
I'm not sure the "Other Sports Stars" category applies, since he was never a star in the PBA. On the other hand, I don't know of another category that applies better. (HairMetalLives 21:44, 28 February 2012 (EST))
I kind of dislike that category in general myself, as it just seems a catch-all for other pro athletes, but I hate the subjectiveness of the term "stars". Does anyone have a better idea? -Chisoxfan 00:13, 29 February 2012 (EST)
"Other Sports Athletes"? --Jeff 00:19, 29 February 2012 (EST)
"Other Sports Athletes" would be good; along the same lines, "Participants in Other Sports?" On a semi-relate note, we've got categories such as "NFL Players" and so forth. Maybe a "Bowlers" category? Burkett, Tom Candiotti, Jerome Bettis and Earl Anthony would fit that category off the top of my head, perhaps there are others (Scott Spiezio and Bobby Witt are also bowlers, but I don't know if they were even semi-pro, let alone took part in any pro events). There's a Professional Golfers with 16 entries, the only non-team sport with its own category. (HairMetalLives 00:26, 29 February 2012 (EST))
