Talk:Jerry Adair
Anyone who remembers the 1967 Boston Red Sox season will recognize Adair's excellent fundamental play, especially in the clutch. He played three infield positions equally well, hit w/ the chips down and did so with consummate professionalism and humility. An indispensable cog in the team-wide success story that was the improbable penant win by the Bosox that year. He is missed by fans who knew him.
