Talk:Ivan Murrell

In San Diego the broadcasters called him "Banana Man". Don't know if that was any kind of legitimate nickname or whether it was just a pseudo-racist moniker by baseball's worst broadcaster, Jerry Coleman.

They also said Ivan had a sweating problem...as a kid he would walk barefoot in the dirt and one could see his damp footprints...and could just squeeze his hand and sweat would drip out. Too weird not to be at least somewhat true...
