Talk:Ichiro Suzuki
I don't understand "posted Ichiro in the 2000 offseason for a total of $13,125,000(USD)." --Ron 08:34, 5 Apr 2006 (EDT)
The posting system allows NPB teams to give MLB teams a crack at their players before they are free agents. Usually they refuse to post stars (Matsuzaka requested last year but was turned down) but will post mediocre players (like Shinji Mori). Stars usually have to wait for free agency (ex. Johjima). Should someone explain this in a glossary article? - --Mischa 10:05, 5 Apr 2006 (EDT)
It would be helpful for people who don't know so much or anything at all about NPB and the posting system. I can help get all the players who were posted if someone wants to indeed create the article. Jbroks86
About to pass 4,000 hits between NPB and MLB. --Jeff (talk) 13:15, 16 August 2013 (EDT)
