Talk:Canada national baseball team
I think tournament results should be in table form, not as 40 different sections, most of them one line long. It could then be followed by a paragraph with the information about particularly notable tournaments whjich is already in the article. --Philippe 04:19, 18 January 2013 (EST)
I find it interesting how many of the older Team Canada players came from the provinces in the middle of the country. In 1971, you had 4 guys apiece from Manitoba and British Columbia, 3 from Saskatchewan, 2 apiece from Quebec, Alberta and Ontario and 1 from New Brunswick.
By 2013, though, here's the breakdown: 13 British Columbia, 10 Ontario, 2 Quebec, 2 Saskatchewan, 1 Alberta, 1 New Brunswick, 1 USA. 23 of 28 players now come from only two provinces. Baseball in Canada looks like it has gone to the coasts with a dissipation in the middle. Does this mean that the middle of the country has given up on baseball or just that the Vancouver and Toronto areas have gotten much stronger in baseball? - --Mischa (talk) 11:00, 13 May 2015 (EDT)
