Did the Islanders play in Aloha? --Jeff 00:09, 16 August 2007 (EDT)

Looks like they did play there from 1975 to 1987 before they became the colorado Springs Sky Sox. From 61-74 they played in another stadium though. --User:Swerth

Bubble-bust: RFK Stadium was built in 1962 with telescoping seats used for football (and later soccer) that moved out of deep left and under the seats along the left field line for the baseball configuration. So, Aloha Stadium may have been unique in practice when it was built, but it was not first.

According to the State of Hawaii's official website Aloha Stadium was in fact the first of it's kind. I would venture to guess RFK is somehow different in its design or in the manner in which the seating configurations move. here is the link to back up my original statement. http://alohastadium.hawaii.gov/about/facts-1/ --User:Swerth 13:50 (EDT)

According to the John E. Olerud article, the Islanders played in Honolulu Stadium. --Jeff 17:23, 24 November 2007 (EST)
