Talk:Alabama-Florida League

From BR Bullpen

Just me: FYI the records posted here are for the entire run of the league, in this case from 1936 through 1962. They are not single season records, they are league records. Check The Encyclopedia of Minor Leage baseball: Second Edition --Dugout 15:27, 12 October 2007 (EDT)

The career record for At-Bats (i.e.) is Emory Lindsey with 3900. So 586 is the single season AFL record. --Jeff 15:41, 12 October 2007 (EDT)

The 3900 is the total for an individual and is not mentioned in the Encyclopedia's listing of league records. The figures I put up are taken directly from the Encyclopedia. That is my source. If you want to overide an establised source, with your opinion, thats your call.--Dugout 16:01, 12 October 2007 (EDT)

Brick Owens is listed as Broughton Owens in 1936 and 1937. He was an all-star both years. Listing him as Broughton Owens would possibly eliminate any Confusion with "Brick" Owens, the umpire. --Dugout 22:29, 2 May 2008 (EDT)

Makes sense to me. - --Mischa 10:04, 4 May 2008 (EDT)

Could C.C. Hodge be Shovel Hodge? He was active in Alabama baseball - --Mischa 13:28, 26 January 2012 (EST)
