Biographical Information[edit]
Takuya Hashimoto was a second baseman for the Japanese national team in the 2010 Asian Games. He went 4 for 7 with 5 runs, 3 RBI, a triple and a walk in starts against Japan's two weaker opponents, Thailand and Mongolia. He was 0 for 1 as a pinch-hitter against host China in both the first round and the Bronze Medal game win. In the semifinals, he sat out a loss to Taiwan as Kenichi Yokoyama played.
