Biographical Information[edit]
Takayoshi Eguchi pitched in Nippon Pro Baseball and for the Japanese national team.
Eguchi represented Japan in the 1989 Asian Championship and 1989 Intercontinental Cup. The Daiei Hawks drafted him in the third round of the 1989 NPB draft.[1] Eguchi suffered a right shoulder injury, so he couldn't pitch many games with the big club. He only had 16 appearances in his five-year career, and announced his retirement after the 1996 season.[2]
