Biographical Information[edit]
Takayasu Sakaemura was a Pacific League umpire from 1992-2014 then became a supervisor. He worked 1,871 games, including the 1997 NPB All-Star Games, 2000 NPB All-Star Games (home plate umpire in Game 1), 2004 Japan Series and 2011 NPB All-Star Games.
