Kamisaka represented Japan in 2001 Baseball World Cup. The Hanshin Tigers drafted him in the fifth round of the 1999 NPB draft. Kamisaka only played 25 games in his rookie year. He broke out and hit .253/.317/.370 in 2001. The manager of the Tigers Katsuya Nomura admired his speed and hustle. He called Kamisaka and other two young prospect Norihiro Akahoshi and Osamu Hamanaka the The new Heisei boys. When Nomura quit, new manager Senichi Hoshino intended to use Makoto Imaoka instead of Kamisaka, so he only got 139 at-bats with a .259/.327/.345 batting line. He spent the next four years in the ni-gun, only played 49 games combined. Kamisaka announced his retirement after the 2008 season.
