Outfielder Sundrendy Windster played his third minor league season in 2009. He debuted in 2007 with the DSL Giants, hitting .237/.335/.333. He improved significantly in 2008 with the same club, batting .268/.356/.460 with 47 runs and 10 homers in 62 games. He tied Alberto Odreman for second in the Dominican Summer League in home runs. He slumped in 2009 stateside with the AZL Giants but was listed as a candidate for the Dutch national team in the 2009 Baseball World Cup.
