Steve Olson was the de facto head baseball coach at the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 1979. Glenn Gerdes served as the de jure head coach that season.
Olson played baseball for the University of Wisconsin-Superior and gained induction into the school's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2017. He was the head baseball coach at Superior Senior High School from 1988-1995.
