Biographical Information[edit]
Steve Harrick was a college coach.
Harrick wrestled in college. He hit .212/?/.288 in 33 games for the 1926 Wheeling Stogies, fielding .945 in the outfield. He coached Point Pleasant (WV) High School in 1932-1933 then served WVU as head wrestling, baseball and football coach. He went 334-160-1 in baseball, including a 30-3 season in 1963. Among his baseball players were 18 future pros, including Paul Popovich. In 1975, he was inducted into the Association of College Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame; he also has been inducted into the WVU Hall of Fame.
