Steve Englert

Steve Englert has been a college baseball assistant coach and is currently a summer collegiate manager. Englert began his coaching career in 1998 at the University of Richmond. He then worked at Virginia Commonwealth University (2000), Holy Cross (2001) then his alma mater Boston College from 2002 to 2013. In 2016 he worked as a volunteer coach at Northeastern University. Englert is most notable for managing in the Cape Cod League, where since 2003 he has managed the Harwich Mariners. He was originally an assistant for five years before being named manager in 2003. Englert led the Mariners to the CCBL title in 2008, their first championship since 1987. He followed that up with another championship in 2011.
