Biographical Information[edit]

Steve Coleman has been a college coach, as has his brother David Coleman.

Coleman played for Lubbock Christian in the 1983 NAIA College World Series. He was an assistant coach at Coronado High School (1986-1990) then was head coach of Wolfforth Frenship High School (3 years) and Odessa Permian High School (4 years). He became head coach of Hardin-Simmons University in 1998 and was 235-185 in his first 10 years there, setting a school record for career wins.
