Biographical Information

Steve Bloomer was a British baseball player. He started his career with a team called St. James of the Derbyshire Baseball Association in 1893. He then played for the Derby Baseball Club starting in 1894. He won the English Baseball Cup with the team three times in 1895, 1897, and 1899. Bloomer was mostly a first baseman during his career, but played second base in 1899 and was also named team captain that year. He played his final baseball game in 1900.

Outside of baseball, he played soccer professionally.
