Biographical Information[edit]

Stephen King was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 3rd round of the 2006 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Tony Arango for $750,000 and made his pro debut the next summer.

He played in the minor leagues from 2007 to 2013, all but the final season in the Nationals organization. His final year was with the Sioux Falls Canaries of the independent American Association. He was primarily a third baseman but also saw time at all three other infield positions. In 562 career games, he batted .235 with 36 homers and 201 RBIs.
