Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Stan Saleski was drafted in the 27th round of the 1977 amateur draft by the New York Yankees.
In his first campaign, he was 5-2 with a 3.20 ERA in eight starts between the Oneonta Yankees and Fort Lauderdale Yankees. He then went 4-8 with a 3.94 ERA in 20 games (10 starts) for Fort Lauderdale in 1978. Overall, he was 9-10 with a 3.65 ERA in 28 games (18 starts).
He later served a scout for the San Francisco Giants, Florida Marlins and New York Yankees. He signed Ken Patterson and Dody Rather.
