Stanley Ray McIlvaine

Biographical Information[edit]

Stan McIlvaine was a minor league executive.

He began his baseball career working on the Cleveland Indians grounds crew at age 14. By age 22, he was a general manager, leading at various times the San Antonio Missions, Houston Buffs and Dallas Rangers. He later oversaw the expansion of Arlington Stadium.

He was elected to the Texas Baseball Hall of Fame in 1992.
