Biographical information[edit]
Stan Bartkowski was a minor league outfielder and manager. He played in 1941 and missed 1942 to 1945 to World War II. He then played from 1946 to 1950 and in 1952 and 1954. In eight minor league seasons, he batted .303 with 78 home runs and 878 hits. He managed the Lufkin Foresters for part of the 1948 season, replacing Red Jones and being replaced by Fred Millican.
He served in the United States Army from 1942 to 1945 during World War II.
