Biographical Information[edit]
Stacy Parker has been a minor league outfielder and a college coach.
Parker was picked by the Texas Rangers in the 42nd round of the 1989 amateur draft. He was 3 for 9 with a walk, run and a RBI for the 1989 Butte Copper Kings. In 1991, he went 3 for 17 with a walk for the Clearwater Phillies and hit .238/.345/.325 for the Bend Bucks while making six outfield errors. He stole 17 bases in 28 tries. He was 10th in the Northwest League in steals, third in times caught stealing and was 5th with 69 strikeouts.
He then was assistant coach at Orange Coast College (1993-1997) and San Diego State University (1998). He was head coach of Irvine Valley College in 2001 and Mt. San Antonio College from 2002-2013. While continuing to be a Kinesiology professor at Mt. San Antonio College, Parker became an assistant coach at Cal Poly Pomona in 2015.
