South Pacific Mandate
The South Pacific Mandate was an area in the Pacific Ocean controlled by Japan between World War I and World War II under a mandate from the League of Nations. The territory includes the current Federated States of Micronesia, Palau, Northern Mariana Islands and Marshall Islands. Susumu Aizawa was born here.
