Biographical Information[edit]
Soo-kwan Kim was an Olympic infielder.
Kim was 1 for 7 with two walks, a double and three runs as one of three South Korean second basemen in the 1996 Olympics. He was with South Korea when they won the 1997 Asian Championship. He made his Korea Baseball Organization debut in 1998 with the Samsung Lions, going 6 for 26 with two doubles and a walk. He was just 2 for 24 with a walk in 1999. In 2000, he went 8 for 49 with a homer and four walks. He was 8 for 32 with two doubles and three walks in 2001 and did not bat in his only game in 2002. In 131 at-bats in the KBO, Kim had hit .183 and slugged .237
