Biographical Information

So-gyeong So pitched in the KBO for 6 years.

So was drafted by the Haitai Tigers in the first round of the 1998 KBO draft, and he had a 6.32 ERA in 12 games in 1998. He went 4-6 with a 5.04 ERA in 1999, and he was 1-2 with a 6.28 ERA in 2000. So only pitched 2 games in 2001, and he allowed 17 runs in 13 2/3 innings in 2004 after spending 2 seasons in the minors. He was then traded with Won-sik Lee to the LG Twins for Hyun-woo Hong and Yong-kyu Lee, but he had a 8.31 ERA in 2005 and he retired.

Overall, So was 5-9 with a 6.01 ERA, struck out 99 and pitched 161 2/3 innings in 6 seasons in the KBO.
