Biographical Information[edit]

Shun-Ho Wang played in the CPBL.

Wang represented Taiwan in the 2019 U-18 Baseball World Cup. He hit .364/.481/.682 with 8 runs in 8 games; in the title match, he had the game's lone extra-base hit, a 5th-inning triple off the US's Lucas Gordon, and scored the first run of a 2-1 victory. He tied for 8th in the Cup in runs and tied Keito Mori for 3rd with two triples. He was named the All-Star third baseman. He was drafted by the Wei Chuan Dragons in the 4th round of the 2020 CPBL Draft, and he hit .313/.370/.380 in the CPBL minor league with a league-leading 14 steals in 2021. He debuted against the Fubon Guardians on August 28, 2021, and he collected his first CPBL hit against Yi-Cheng Wang on November 16. Wang ended up going 3-for-25 with the big club in that season, and he spent his entire 2022 season in the minor league. He led the minors with 48 striekouts while hitting .237/.303/.316 in 2022, and his batting line was .237/.282/.298 there in 2023.
