Biographical Information

Shotaro Ogawa helped to organize the Japanese Club Baseball Association. He had set a National High School Baseball Championship record with eight strikeouts in 1926; the record stood for 74 years. Ogawa also was a newspaper report.

Ogawa was inducted into the Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame in 1981.
