Biographical Information

Shoma Sato was picked by the Yokohama BayStars in the fourth round of the 2007 NPB draft. He pitched 16 games for Yokohama in 2008, going 0-1 with a 4.08 ERA. In his first start, May 8, he hit four batters n four innings. After spending 2009 in ni-gun, he allowed two runs in 5 2/3 IP in 2010. He was chosen for the Japanese national team roster for the 2010 Intercontinental Cup.
