Biographical Information[edit]
Utility player Shingo Kuramoto played in Nippon Professional Baseball from 1936 to 1938 and in 1940. He played for Hankyu (1936-1937), Nagoya (1937-1938) and Nagoya Kinko (1940).
He batted .207/.325/.281 in 551 at-bats for his career. Perhaps his best campaign was 1938, when he hit .230/.352/.315 with three home runs, 23 RBI and 42 walks (to only 21 strikeouts) in 66 games.
