Biographical Information[edit]

Shih-Tsung Wang played in the CPBL for 4 years. He is the cousin of Yao-Lin Wang and Wei-Chung Wang.

Wang represented Taiwan in the 2018 World University Championship, hitting .294/.400/.412 and handling 53 chances error-free, tops in the event. He was drafted by the Fubon Guardians in the 7th round of the 2018 CPBL Draft, and he hit .303/.388/.424 in the minors in 2019. Wang was 1-for-13 with the big club in 2020, and his batting line was .291/.377/.530 in the minors. He hit .305/.391/.473 in 2021, and he improved to .376/.456/.521 while leading the minor league in RBI and steals in 2022. Wang also played 32 games in the major league, and he hit .247/.295/.356 with 3 doubles. However, he only played 2 games with the big club in 2023, and he was released.

Overall, Wang hit .213/.260/.309 with 20 hits in 4 seasons in the CPBL.
